Illustration is not connected directly with the text of book. Shevchenko depicted Suvorov in his chair at the table with medications. The circle of his doctor and servant, which makes the room a box with awards Suvorov. There is thumbnail picture.

July 27, 1843 it was announced in the press that the third issue of "History of Suvorov" sent to subscribers [Northern Bee. – 1843. – 27 July], where the artwork was reproduces for the first time.
