Illustration to text on page 280 of book, which refers to the old abbot of Saint-Gothard capuchin Monastery, cordially met Suvorov, prayer after serving in the church. He spoke friendly with commander and read Virgil's poetry for him.

Illustration not signed by Shevchenko, but his authorship is confirmed that illustrate common with others, signed, particularly in images and figures face Suvorov, abbot figure have protagonist in "Catholic monk". The figure of a soldier in the background is similar to the same on sketch to the picture, the second soldier like a Cossack, shown in the illustration "Liberty trees cut down".

July 27, 1843 it was announced in the press that the third issue of "History of Suvorov" sent to subscribers [Northern Bee. – 1843. – 27 July], where the artwork was reproduces for the first time.
