It is also possible that a preliminary drawing to watercolor "Group of sleeping beggar women" (see comment number 251). Dated by the time of writing the "Blind woman" poem – the first half of 1842, as well as watercolors of "Group of sleeping beggar women", exposed in September 1842 at an exhibition in the Art Academy.

Some researchers have questioned the Shevchenko's authorship of this drawing [D.
