On the back bottom left ink inscription by hand Shevchenko: 14. Chyr Kala Tau.

Drawing was included to the set of 17 works submitted by T. Shevchenko to Br. Zaleski for "Vilna album" (see number 58). It could be made after pencil drawing time Kara-Tau expedition "Chir-Kala and Kok-Sujru".

Start date tentatively set for the specified residence time of the expedition in the North Ak-Tau mountains.
