The name is set on the basis of the picture "Chir-Kala Tau and Kok-Sujru», which shows the same area.

Chir-Kala Tau and Kok-Sujru – the mountains of the central part of North Ak-Tau. Figure tentative dates by residence time of the expedition here.

Nearest to the composition – the picture of the same area "Chir-Kala Tau and Kok-Sujru» repeated Shevchenko later in watercolor (see number 9); figure of Kok-Sujru mountain see number 92, image of Chir-Kala Tau mountain see number 8 and number 85, 86, 89. These mountains are also an integral part of the landscape etching BY Br. Zaleski "Kyrgyz tent" [see album «La vie des steppes Kirghizes», Paris, 1865, between p. 8 – 9].
