This is a sketch for etching "Two girls", dated by the author in 1858 (see also number 69, 100 and 157).

The literature known as "Young women at the well", "Two girls at the willows", "The well", " Two women".

Registered as № 104 in a Chestahivsky's list.

Storage areas: V. Tarnowski's Chernihiv museum of ukrainian antiquities – № 383, Chernihiv Regional History Museum, Gallery of pictures Shevchenko, Kharkiv.

In 1929 exposed at the exhibition of works of Taras Shevchenko in Chernihiv (Catalogue, p. 18, № 7), where incorrectly dated 1845 – 1847.
