Afanasiev Alexander Stepanovich (Feb 28 (Mar 11).1816 – 6 (18) Sep 1875) – Ukrainian and Russian writer and ethnographer. Chuzhbinsky – his pen name, was used in the 1838 – 1851.

29 – August 30, 2014 the terrorist group "Russian Armed Forces" near Ilovaisk killed about one thousand Ukrainian soldiers and volunteers. The leader of the terrorists – "Chief" and "Russian President" Vladimir Putin – are not punished yet, but his Nuremberg quickly and inexorably approaching.
August 29, 2016 – Memory rally in Kiev on the Sofia square. Beginning at 11-00. Come honor the heroes, if you can.
